What is a doula? It means female servant in Greek. In the "old days" when there were mainly midwives to help at births. A doula would be like a midwife assistant at the birth helping support the mother during her birthing time. This is the same role a doula takes on today. We serve the East Texas areas of Nacogdoches, Lufkin, San Augustine, Center, Henderson, Garrison, Tyler, etc.

They cover topics from pregnancy, birth, post-partum, breastfeeding and even parenting tips at their meetings. They meet once a month. We are now offering cloth diapering package for anyone interested. This package can be ordered separately or with one of our other doula care packages--so even if you desire to use another doula--the cloth diapers can be made and sewn by "Little People Diapers".
